**update on Michael Rupp**I wish to thank everyone who has kept Michael in their prayers for the past 6 months. He finally got into the rheumatologist this past Friday and it’s all good news. Actually, great news! God is so good! Even though he tested positive for Rheumatoid Arthritis, they believe it to be a one time occurrence due to his age and no other symptoms since January. He’s very healthy now and I know without a doubt that your prayers delivered results. Thank you so very much!
Mindy Update:
She did not have surgery yesterday. When the doctor did the pre-surgery laparoscopy, he discovered that the cancer-causing “blobs” were too numerous, especially in the lining of the abdominal cavity which is too dangerous too remove. The blobs that were floating around in her abdomen have attached themselves to the lining making them now cancerous. So, They will go back to chemotherapy but with a different chemo cocktail until they find one that works. Please pray Mindy and her family as they process the information and for her doctors to find the correct combo of chemo.
The surgery for Micah’s boss, Ray, has been cancelled.
The oncologist reviewed the CT scan from Friday and found that the colon has a severe infection called CDF. The great news is this produced a false cancer positive testing. Being treated for the CDF with IV antibiotics ASAP. Will have to go in for surgery in a few weeks to clean up the colon but there is NO CANCER.

Mindy Hoover, a second mom to us, was diagnosed with a rare disease pseudomyxoma back in January. They have been attempting to treat the disease with chemo but it has not been successful. Today, she will undergo a 12hr surgery which will include internal heat chemo. Please pray for Mindy, her family and all the medical staff as she undergoes this intense surgery.
Please pray for all those impacted by the apartment building collapse in Miami and for the local churches as they reach out and share the Good News in the shadow of loss.
Micah’s boss/friend, Ray, has been diagnosed with cancer. The full extent is not yet known but it is bad enough that he will be going into surgery Monday morning, 6/28. They will be removing part of his large intestine, gallbladder, and part of his lower intestine for sure. Ray is very nervous and his family (2 kids, 14 & 18, and wife) are not handling it well at all. Prayers for him and his family as well as the many medical professionals that will be walking with them through this process would be very much appreciated.
Please pray for our dear friend Carlos and his family. As they support their daughter during a very painful battle with depression.
We would appreciate your prayers for Bill’s mom, Gerri Romaniello, who was recently diagnosed with cancer and has her first chemo treatment tomorrow.
Please pray for the Sutton’s. Rick is very sick with Crisis hypertension and may have Covid. Deb is not well either. No signs of Covid yet. Rick will get his test results back tomorrow.
Please lift up our sister in Christ, Reyna, who I work with, whose Mother had recently passed.
Please be in prayer for My friend Dawn’s son,Conner. He is having surgery today to remove a benign tumor from his ear. Pray for guidance of the surgeons hand, healing, and restoration of hearing. Through this they will draw near to Jesus and others may see you through them.
Please pray daily for the end of abortion and consider participating in the 40 Days for
Life prayer vigil that will take place around planned parenthood in Sarasota from 7am to 7pm February 17 through March 28
Micah is currently looking for a new job after a bad experience with his last job. Please pray he finds something quickly and that we have the wisdom see any red flags.
Please pray for my brother. He is going through some life changes and in his words, “fighting a lot of my own demons.” In particular, pray for his spiritual life and that he may feel the closeness of Jesus more than ever.
I am battling Covid-19, it’s been days that I’ve had a high fever and migraine. Please pray that I start feeling better. Thank you.
**update on Michael**. Whatever is going on with his left eye is now going on with his right eye but they caught it within a day and the drops are keeping it stable. He is now out of pain and that is a blessing from God and I know that all of your prayers have been instrumental. We do know what it is not: conjunctivitis with septal edema, bacterial infection. He now has cataracts in the left eye due to the damage and the Dr is keeping it dilated to reduce scarring, so no vision but medically induced at this time. Please continue to pray for the doctors to have the knowledge to diagnose and to treat whatever they need to. Bloodwork was completed on Thursday and no phone call yet so I take this as a good sign. Appt with Dr. tomorrow so hopefully we will have an idea of what is going on. I trust that God has a great plan for Michael whatever the outcome. Thank you Good Life family!
Please pray for my son, Michael Rupp, as he fights to have his vision restored. Pray that God is guiding his doctor to have the knowledge and ability to reduce the swelling so that the they can perform the necessary surgery. We know that God is the Greatest Physician and that all things are possible! Just really need prayers right now.
Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers. My grandfather passed away late this evening. My grandparents have been married for 67 years. My grandma is upset but understands and is doing ok. Please also pray for my dad and cousin who looked out for both of them.
