Update: Lauren will be evaluated on Tuesday for viability to receive a liver transplant. If they determine she is not a viable candidate they will terminate the assistance of life. Please pray for God’s will for Lauren. Please pray for her family as they wait for this life altering decision.
Please pray for my son who is suffering from mental health issues. Praying that the medications he is being prescribed will begin to work and heal him. He has suffered for a long time now but lately he has had more issues. Asking for peace and comfort for him.
Update: Praise! Lauren had some big wins today. Her EEG results showed she has brain activity and she has started to open her eyes. The doctors are trying to determine if she is strong enough to be put on the transplant list. Please pray she would be added to the list and for continued healing so she is strong enough for the surgery.
Update: Lauren still has not woken up. They did not run the brain tests yesterday. Today, they will be starting an EEG test, which takes 24 hours, to test brain activity. If there is brain activity, it means that there is a good potential that she is not waking up due to all the toxins from her liver. That will hopefully be the final test to get her on the transplant list. Please pray for brain activity. Pray for peace for her family and friends as they wait for the results. May His will be done.
Update: Lauren has made good progress over the past 24 hours. She has been able to maintain her blood pressure and they were able to close a surgical location because she has stopped bleeding. She even opened her eyes for a bit last night. God is good! She still has a long road ahead. Please pray that her brain tests today show function. If that test shows function they will add her to the transplant list. Also, pray for a compatible liver for her to receive.
Have a weird eye rash and other physical issues today. It's always something with Fibromyalgia. Thankful for church online. Thanks for your prayers
Update: The doctors found blood on Lauren’s brain. They have also determined that she needs an immediate liver transplant because every time they give her blood it is becoming toxic. Her family is praying for a miracle or if it’s her time that she would not suffer. I am asking that we pray for a miracle so God’s glory can be shown through her life. Ultimately, May God’s will be done.
Update: After the biopsy they found that Lauren (age 37) needs a full liver transplant. TGH is hoping to complete the transplant within the next month. But Lauren’s condition has escalated since Thursday. She has had unknown bleeding on and off since the biopsy which has caused her to be moved to the ICU and have multiple emergency surgeries. At this point they believe they have stopped the bleeding but now she will not wake up. They will be completing testing today to hopefully find answers. Your continued prayers are very much appreciated.
Original Request: My co-worker, Lauren, found out today that she is in acute liver failure. She is being admitted to Tampa General to meet with specialists to hopefully save the portion of her liver that is good. If not, a transplant will be needed. She is diabetic and has a rare blood condition that causes bleeding so treatment is more complicated. She is very scared and is not a Christ follower. Please pray for Lauren, her husband, her family and all the doctors as they navigate this.

Our Young Life crew is up in the mountains of the Carolinas and we have lots of high school kids from East & West Bradenton hearing the Good News. Pray the Lord uses this week to move them from death to life.
Good Life Family,
Please be in prayer for Dorothy Wiles, who lives in the Oaks Apartments next-door to Good Life that we moved a few weeks back. She is in quite a bit of pain, having difficulty walking, and losing strength in her leg. She has a doctors appointment this Wednesday afternoon the 11th. Let’s pray for healing, restoration, and for her to have a saving relationship with Christ through this and our love for her.
Please be in prayer for my youngest kids school, Family Life Community School. They are looking for a Middle School math teacher and an Elementary teacher. We are praying for teachers that Love Jesus and want to come along side parents to not only educate their children but bring them up with a Godly foundation.
My clients daughter in law committed suicide last night. Her daughter found her with a gunshot wound to her head. Prayers for the Hanson family.
Please pray for Pat and Margaret, a couple who lives near Good Life. Their son Daniel is in the hospital with a brain injury. They are not believers. We met them Sunday when my son Alex and I went out sharing the gospel in the neighborhood.
Thank you all for your prayers while I was in the hospital for three days. It was quite an ordeal, but I am feeling somewhat better. I have a 1.1 centimeter kidney stone that they blasted and now I have to return for outpatient lipotripsy (wrong spelling) in a week or so. I also have a nasty virus that is affecting my breathing. The Lord took such great care for me and even allowed me to witness to a few unfortunate soles while there. Glory be to God!
Please pray for my sweet husband. He is struggling with getting his diabetes under control.
