Update: After the biopsy they found that Lauren (age 37) needs a full liver transplant. TGH is hoping to complete the transplant within the next month. But Lauren’s condition has escalated since Thursday. She has had unknown bleeding on and off since the biopsy which has caused her to be moved to the ICU and have multiple emergency surgeries. At this point they believe they have stopped the bleeding but now she will not wake up. They will be completing testing today to hopefully find answers. Your continued prayers are very much appreciated.

Original Request: My co-worker, Lauren, found out today that she is in acute liver failure. She is being admitted to Tampa General to meet with specialists to hopefully save the portion of her liver that is good. If not, a transplant will be needed. She is diabetic and has a rare blood condition that causes bleeding so treatment is more complicated. She is very scared and is not a Christ follower. Please pray for Lauren, her husband, her family and all the doctors as they navigate this.
