Scripture:
Hebrews 8:1-2
Now the point in what we are saying is this: we have such a high priest, one who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, 2 a minister in the holy places, in the true tent[a] that the Lord set up, not man.
Observation:
Jesus is seated at the right hand of The Father. Though He is seated, He is not inactive. He is ministering.
Application:
Tomorrow I will get up and minister through the Word in an elementary school that is set-up by human hands. We will sing, listen, pray and baptize. We will have church and be the church. However, as I write this, Jesus is ministering as well. He is the best minister of all time. He is seated in a true tent, set-up by the Lord, not by man. He is not just sitting there. He is ministering. A few things…
-Jesus is active. I need to remember this. Jesus isn’t just watching. He is still ministering and still working. I need Him to move in my life. He isn’t just a spectator.
-Heaven is a set-up culture just like Good Life. However, heaven doesn’t ever takedown. When we are taking down tomorrow I will be reminded that though the tent of heaven was set-up, it won’t be torn down.
-The work that needs to be done tomorrow in the Good Life family must be done through the active ministry of Jesus. I want Him to use me, Jared and Forrest. I want Him to use each greeter, Little Lifer’s servant leader and every person on the worship and prayer team. However, if life change, eternity change is gonna happen, we must trust in HIM!

Oh Jesus! You are active. Be active in us tomorrow!
